“Aus Heiterem Himmel” from Irene Cruz

Irene Cruz was born in Madrid 1987 and now lives and works in Berlin, Germany. She studied Public Relations and audiovisual communication in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. After this she did the international masters EFTI especializing in conceptual photography and artistic creation. She was highly influenced by the workshop on the narrative effects of light: reflection, exploration, desire, melancholia. The light is indeed a very important part of her work wich make her experiment in the countries of north Europe mainly. She has won several prices, between them an áccesit in Fototalentos (organized by the Banco Santander Foundation) and she has participated in many exhibitions in Spain and Germany.
