“The good wife” by Bill Hart-French

“This set of pictures started out as a test”, says Bill Hart-French, London-based narrative photographer. “Lockdown had given me time to think. I wanted to change direction; shoot in a different way; be more serious? It was time to start changing my lighting and my approach to the subject. I had long been a fan of the French photographer Arto Pazat. I loved the simplicity of his pictures, his lighting, his storytelling and I took his inspiration as a starting point to shoot in a different way. I got together with the very experienced Rebecca Tun and we started experimenting. It was only supposed to be a test but Rebecca brought a kind of magic to the project and a strong narrative started to emerge. So here it is, “The Good Wife””.
Rebecca Tun is originally from Cambridge but lives just outside London now. She is a very experienced and sensitive full-time model (and photographer)… “and she is a joy to work with!”
