“Freedom” by Seigar

“This series shows the drag Candy Porcelain walking on street crossings. The crosswalk works as a symbol of frontiers and limits. She moves freely wherever she wants to as a way to state the concept of freedom. Her mind and body are free, she is the one that decides. This performance conveys a social and political statement, and also works on a personal level. The final intention is to overcome all the mental and physical barriers, imposed by others/society or by ourselves. The discourse includes all of us. We can relate to the drag’s action and message. Feel and be free.”
