” I spotted Charo online and wanted to work with her immediately. I thought she was beautiful – but with a dangerous edge. We hooked up at my place in Kennington and we shot three sets. This is the third. I had been brought up on film, I had learned photography using film, but for the last several years I have shot exclusively on digital. I wanted to go back to the discipline, the effort, the uncertainty and that special quality of working with film. This is the first set I shot with my “new” Nikon F4. “

She has been modelling for a few years and has worked extensively in Italy, Paris and America and has worked with some very eminent and famous photographers. She lives and works in London now. And she sings. She sings very well. She has just had her debut EP released, “Life Through Apocalypse” and can often be found in the clubs and pubs of London belting out the Blues.
